CLUB RULES:

Membership in Racqueteers is for single or married people who play tennis at an intermediate level (3.0) or higher level and who are at least 21 years old.

SATURDAY EVENING TENNIS PARTIES:

If you have signed up to play at a Saturday evening party but cannot play due to an injury or to some other unforeseen event, then contact as soon as possible the Board member that is handling the party so that the list of players that will be coming to the party can be kept up to date. No refunds will be made if a member cancels at the last minute on the Saturday of the party. If the Board member is contacted before the date of the party, then the member that was unable to play will not have to pay if he (or she) signs up to play at the next Saturday evening party.

SUNDAY INDOOR TENNIS:

1. All players (regulars and substitutes) should be on their assigned court and ready to play at 6pm.  NO GRACE PERIOD.

2. It is important that all of the courts be filled with four players. If a member that signed up to play for the Sunday indoor tennis league fails to play or fails to get a substitute, then there would only be three players on the court. Since this creates a problem for most players, the member that failed to play or get a substitute may be removed from the Sunday indoor tennis league.

3. Substitute Policy: If a member that signed up for the Sunday indoor tennis league cannot play, then that member should get a substitute by contacting at least five players from the substitute list. Whether the substitute reimburses the member for the cost of the evening play is between the member and the substitute. The Racqueteers Club will not issue refunds to league members for missed playing sessions.

4. Members who are not present and did not find a sub more than twice in a league season of 8 games or more than 10 minutes late may be dropped from participation at the discretion of the members of the Board.

SUBSTITUTE PLAYERS:

If a regular member of the Sunday indoor tennis league contacts you to substitute, then please do your best to reply promptly so that others can be contacted if you are unavailable.
